🌎 Real-world city sync

Choose a city or allow approximate device location to connect weather, real time, local wages, and news.

Offline simulation until you connect a city.

🗞️ Today's local headlines

Connect a city to try fetching current headlines.

Live headlines only appear after a successful fetch. No invented stories.

💵 Local job economy

Connect a city to estimate local pay.

Illustrative local estimates, not employer offers or verified current BLS wages. Character paychecks are simulated.

🪪 Your Ten Blocks identity

Create an account or sign in to save your life in Ten Blocks across devices.

Offline guest · device-only identity. Online sync is not connected.

🌐 Public world · 3 city districts max

All rooms are public. Everyone joins Downtown by default so the city feels populated. Online play requires a signed-in account. Districts 2 and 3 are overflow options; no private or custom rooms.

Online public city opens after account sign-in.

No online players

Public chat is visible to everyone in your district. Avoid sharing private information. With a signed-in account, new NPC memories are saved privately in the game database. Without an account, memories stay on this device.

🧠 25 Gemini AI residents

Each person has a personality, home, financial situation and history. Online AI costs are limited server-side. The Gemini API key stays private.

Online AI is prepared, but needs a private Gemini API key before it can answer.

Budget: $0 spent / $22 internal allowance + $3 safety buffer · Google billing cap to set separately.

Choose a resident and start a conversation. In guest mode the city still runs with local scripted behavior.

20–25 meaningful replies per player each day are not guaranteed; quotas and usage limits apply. Please don't share secrets or personal addresses.

🧠 Resident memories

Residents remember your nickname and notes. Guest memories stay here; online accounts synchronize them privately across devices. You can inspect or delete memories.

Talk to a resident to create memories.

📜 City Chronicle · shared world

While you're away, the city keeps living. AI residents now have a shared server-held wallet, home, mood and daily history. A daily background city clock moves their lives forward. No made-up live events.

💰 Neighborhood economy

Earn local-style wages, spend at shops, and see residents pay expenses. Guest play uses local credits. Signed-in accounts use server-controlled credits, paychecks and housing purchases.

Game credits only, not real money. Shared player trading is not yet available.

🪪 Player identity & home

All residents begin at Starter Flats. Sign in for a recoverable online identity and server-controlled credits, jobs and housing. Guest progress stays local.

🏙️ Life & opportunity

Simulated NPC lives are saved on this device; this is not yet a single server-hosted AI brain shared by all players.

Agents maintain careers, simulated finances, relationships, housing, wellbeing and goals. They can fall behind, recover, build a business or change careers.

Hardship, substance-use struggles and homelessness are treated as human circumstances with pathways to support; not bonuses or attractions.

Meet the neighbors

Walk close to somebody or click them. Each person has a job, needs, relationships, memories, and their own routine.
